BJP Forms Apartment Cell in Bengaluru to Mobilise Urban Dwellers

BJP state president B Y Vijayendra on Monday constituted an Apartment Cell within his party in Bengaluru. The newly formed cell will be in charge of mobilising support for the party among apartment dwellers across the city.

Chetan Rai has been appointed as the convener of the cell, while Kiran Hebbar will serve as the co-convener. The party has named Mahaveer Jain, Parashuram V Yaragudri, and Padma G Patil as members of the team.

The move to structure outreach specifically for apartment communities follows earlier efforts by other parties in Karnataka. Ahead of the 2023 elections, Congress had also formed an apartment cell to connect with voters in high-rise and gated complexes.
