BlueRose Technologies launches LifeTree platform in Bengaluru to secure family heritage

Bengaluru-based tech firm BlueRose Technologies on Tuesday launched 'LifeTree', a secure family networking platform designed to help users build family trees and digitize family heirlooms. The platform aims to provide a private and secure digital space for families to preserve their heritage and communicate, addressing the privacy and security risks associated with sharing personal family data on public social media.
The platform allows users to build family trees spanning up to seven or eight generations. To construct these trees, users can gather information from family elders, old photographs, family albums, and historical documents.
Tulasidasappa, the co-founder and COO of BlueRose Technologies, stated that LifeTree enables families to digitize their heritage, traditions, culture, festivities, religious rituals, weddings, and anniversaries. The platform also offers space to store elements like traditional recipes and grandparents' stories.
In addition to preservation, the platform includes features for real-time communication. Family members can exchange messages, chat, make video calls, and share birthday or anniversary greetings within their private network.
Addressing security concerns, Tulasidasappa explained that the platform provides a complete security cover. Unlike public social media platforms where personal data and family pictures are exposed to security risks, any content posted on LifeTree can only be viewed by registered family members.
Vinnet Jain, co-founder and CEO of BlueRose Technologies, noted that while modern technology connects people with the wider world, it often fails to maintain connections within families. He highlighted that many traditions, cultures, recipes, and photographs are slowly fading, and LifeTree offers a space to preserve them so younger generations can cherish them.
Jain added that the platform was built to counter global fatigue with mainstream social media platforms, where intimate family moments are frequently exposed to public scrutiny, data tracking, and exploitation.
