CCB arrests rowdy sheeter Syed Akeeb Pasha near Allalasandra flyover

The Central Crime Branch (CCB) of Bengaluru on Wednesday arrested a 30-year-old rowdy sheeter who had been evading court proceedings despite multiple warrants and a proclamation order issued against him. The arrest of the wanted individual was carried out near the Allalasandra flyover, located within the limits of the Yelahanka police station.

The arrested person has been identified by the police as Shakeeb, who is also known by the alias Syed Akeeb Pasha. According to official police records, Pasha is a registered rowdy sheeter within the jurisdiction of the Vidyaranyapura police station.

Following the successful operation to apprehend him near the flyover, the CCB team brought Pasha to the CCB office for questioning. A detailed interrogation conducted by the officers revealed a lengthy criminal record. According to the police, Pasha has 11 criminal cases registered against him. These cases are registered at various police stations located both in Bengaluru and in other states.

Investigating officials noted that Pasha had been actively avoiding his scheduled court appearances. Out of the 11 criminal cases registered against him, Pasha had failed to appear before the court on the scheduled hearing dates in three specific cases. His continuous failure to attend these hearings led the court to issue official proclamation and warrant orders to secure his presence.

Following his interrogation, the CCB team produced Pasha before the Soladevanahalli police. Along with the accused, the CCB submitted a detailed report requesting further legal action. Based on this report and the presentation of the accused, a case was formally registered against Pasha by the Soladevanahalli police.
