Excise Department to auction 26 vacant liquor licences in Bengaluru Urban District

The Karnataka Excise Department has invited bids from eligible bidders for the allotment of 26 vacant CL-2A and CL-9A liquor licences in Bengaluru Urban District (BUD-06). The allotment of these licences will be conducted through an online e-auction for the sale of Indian Made Liquor (IML), foreign liquor, or both.
The 26 excise licences, which are currently vacant or available in the Bengaluru Urban District jurisdiction, will be auctioned on the MSTC e-commerce platform. This process will enable the distribution and allotment of these licences to eligible bidders for commercial operations within the district.
The registration process for interested bidders commenced on July 3. Following the registration phase, the live e-auction is scheduled to be held on July 27, running from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
