GBA Cancels June 27 'My e-Khata, My Right' Campaign in Bengaluru

The Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) has cancelled the weekly ‘Nanna e-Khata, Nanna Hakku’ (My e-Khata, My Right) campaign scheduled for June 27, 2026, in Bengaluru. GBA Chief Commissioner M. Maheshwar Rao announced the decision, citing the Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Jayanti celebrations being held across the city as the reason for the temporary suspension.
The initiative is a weekly campaign held every Saturday to assist local residents with their property records. Specifically, the drive helps citizens with e-khata applications, corrections, status verification, and other related grievances. Because of the city-wide celebrations, these services will not be available this coming Saturday.
According to GBA Chief Commissioner M. Maheshwar Rao, the cancellation is only temporary. The civic outreach drive is scheduled to resume on July 4, 2026. Following the resumption, the campaign will continue to run on Saturdays as usual to address the public's e-khata needs.
The announcement was made on June 26, 2026, to inform property owners and applicants ahead of the scheduled weekend drive. Citizens who had planned to visit GBA offices or campaign sites for e-khata corrections or status verifications on June 27 will now have to wait until the program resumes the following week.
