Police Arrest Second Suspect Kenneth in Seegehalli Triple Murder Case

The Bengaluru Police have arrested a second suspect, 25-year-old Kenneth, in connection with a triple murder case reported at an apartment in Seegehalli, within the limits of the K R Puram Police Station. The arrest was made near a beach in Puducherry with the assistance of the local Puducherry Police.
The high-profile murder case was registered on June 22 after three members of a family were found dead inside their apartment in Seegehalli. To speed up the investigation and trace the individuals involved in the killings, the Bengaluru City Police formed 10 special teams to investigate the case from multiple angles.
The first major breakthrough occurred on June 24, when police arrested the first accused, 24-year-old Swetha, also in Puducherry. During her interrogation, Swetha allegedly confessed to murdering the three members of her family. She revealed that she had conspired with Kenneth and disclosed specific details regarding his role in the crime. Following her arrest, a court remanded Swetha to 15 days of police custody on June 25.
According to police officials, crucial leads emerged during Swetha’s custodial interrogation. Investigators used the information provided by Swetha, along with other evidence collected during the ongoing investigation, to track Kenneth's movements. They eventually narrowed down his location to Puducherry.
A police officer associated with the investigation stated that they tracked Kenneth to a bar near the Puducherry beach. Officers spotted him and kept him under close surveillance. When police officers moved in to make the arrest, Kenneth allegedly attempted to flee the scene but was quickly caught by the team.
Kenneth was subsequently handed over to the K R Puram police. Police officials stated that both Kenneth and Swetha have allegedly confessed to their involvement in the murders during their interrogations.
