SUV Carrying Actor Darshan's Son Vineesh Involved in Rajarajeshwari Nagar Accident

An SUV carrying Vineesh, the 17-year-old son of jailed Kannada actor Darshan, was involved in a road accident after allegedly rear-ending a two-wheeler in the Rajarajeshwari Nagar area of Bengaluru on Thursday. The rider of the two-wheeler sustained minor injuries in the collision, which occurred within the jurisdiction of the Rajarajeshwari Nagar traffic police.

Following the accident, a video clip began circulating widely on social media platforms. The viral video showed Vineesh involved in an argument at the scene of the collision. This footage led to widespread speculation online, with some social media users suggesting that the teenager had been hospitalised as a result of the crash.

To address the growing speculation, Vineesh's mother, Vijayalakshmi, posted a clarification on social media. She confirmed that her son was entirely safe and had not been harmed in the accident. She also sought to clear up details regarding who was operating the SUV during the collision.

According to Vijayalakshmi's social media statement, Vineesh was not driving the vehicle when the accident took place. She clarified that their family driver was behind the wheel of the SUV at the time. She characterized the collision as a minor road accident, noting that such incidents are, unfortunately, a common occurrence in Bengaluru's traffic.

Furthermore, Vijayalakshmi claimed that the other party involved in the collision acknowledged their mistake. She stated that the two-wheeler rider admitted responsibility for the accident and offered an apology to them.

Despite the viral nature of the video and the ensuing social media discussion, no formal police case has been registered. The jurisdictional Rajarajeshwari Nagar traffic police confirmed that they have not received any official complaint from either party regarding the road accident. As a result, no official investigation has been launched by the local traffic police department into the incident.
