The third individual arrested in connection with the cybercrime is 25-year-old Ranjith, who is a resident of the Manjunathnagar neighborhood in Bengaluru.
According to the Bengaluru cybercrime police, the three men were involved in generating and distributing fabricated media of the actress. The accused allegedly used artificial intelligence technologies to produce the objectionable images and videos, which were then shared widely across various social media networks.
The police stated that these fabricated images and videos were specifically designed and structured to portray the actress in a derogatory manner. Cybercrime officials emphasized that the circulation of these unauthorized AI-generated materials severely damaged her professional and personal reputation, violated her privacy, and subjected her to significant mental distress.
